Dust off your bike and head out to Vance Granville Community College on Saturday, April 25th! This year’s event will benefit the United We Read….United We Succeed early reading initiative program sponsored by the United Way of Vance County.
Rides include at 10 mile Party Ride for youth, families and beginners; a 20 mile ride for those ready to take on more; a 30 miler through forest and farmland; and for those up to the challenge – a 60 mile ride that takes you out past Nutbush Creek State Recreation Area and on to Kerr Lake’s Bullocksville State Recreation Area!

The cost is minimal – 20 mile ride is $20; 30 and 60 mile rides are $40.00; and the 10 mile ride is $10 each, or four riders per family for $30.00.
Register online at http://RaceReach.com/r/tour-de-vance before 11:59 p.m., Monday, April 20th, and get a free shirt. On-line registrations will continue up until 5:00 p.m. Friday April 24th, or you may register on-site beginning at 7:30 a.m. day of race.
All proceeds from this ride will benefit the United We Read … United We Succeed reading initiative. This program targets all third grade students in Vance County’s public schools.
